Toddler Program

This drop-off program is designed for children who are 23 months by September 1.

Program Offerings

2 days: Monday & Tuesday

3 days: Monday - Wednesday

4 days: Monday - Thursday
8:45 - 11:30am​​

Toddler Program Goals

Social/Emotional Development

Physical Development

  • Improve gross and fine motor skills

  • Runs with better coordination, walks up and down stairs holding on, and pulls toys while walking

  • Scribbles spontaneously and may copy simple lines

  • Builds towers of four or more blocks

  • Improves self-care: dressing, using the bathroom, washing hands

Cognitive/Intellectual Development

Creative Development

  • Builds problem solving skills

  • Sorts colors & Shapes

  • Follows simple 2-step instructions

  • Ties to use buttons, knobs, and switches on toys

  • Names familiar items or people in books 

  • Completes sentences or rhymes in familiar books

  • Shows awareness of "mine", "you" and "me"

  • Recognizes basic colors and shapes

  • Symbolic & pretend play

  • Sensory exploration

  • Imitation & role-playing

  • Responding to music, listening to rhymes, and moving to rhythms

  • Using words to share feelings, ideas, and make up stories, completing sentences in books

  • Engaging sight, touch, taste, smell, and hearing through activities like finger painting and play dough
